Today Bacula USA has signed the contract for the implementation of the backup and data recovery solution EBacula in the Smart City Project of Aparecida de Goiânia, Brazil. “The model being deployed in Aparecida is a pioneer in Brazil and one of the most complete in Latin America and has received three awards, two international and one national”.
The decision of public agencies to adopt Bacula as a backup solution is in line with the constitutional principle of efficiency (article 37 of CF/88) that addresses issues such as speed, efficiency, cost effectiveness and quality at the time of the execution of its acts administrative procedures.
In this sense, EBacula works with an open (non-proprietary) backup format and data catalog in addition to having a reduced cost compared to other solutions on the market.
