It is possible to put a message or ASCII image that looks like the Bacula Linux server when you log in.
Access an ASCII Image Conversion service (eg https://www.text-image.com/convert/ascii.html, http://www.scrape.com/photo-in-characters.php, upload your favorite image and convert it to characters. The default for the number of Putty columns and the Linux terminal is 80 if you want to produce one exactly this size. In my case the bat looked like this:
®®®® ®®®® ®®®®®®®® ® ® ®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®® ®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®®®® ®®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®®® ®® ®® ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® ®® ®® ® ®®®®®®®®®®®®® ® ®®®®®®®®® ®®®®®®® ®®®®® ®®® ® ®
Reserve the ASCII image in a notepad.
In the Bacula Server, edit /etc/ssh/sshd_config and add the following line (or uncomment if already exists).
Banner /etc/issue.net
Also, edit the /etc/issue.net
file and paste the ASCII image. Save.
Restart the SSH service. Ex.:
service sshd restart
Log out and connect back to the server. As shown in Figure 1, the banner you created should appear.
